In cirripeds (Balanomorpha), groove on outer surface of tergum extending to apex in line with spur. (Syn. spur fasciole) [Moore and McCormick, 1969].
(Subclass Cirripedia):
Barnacle plate feature: in unstalked form, groove on outer surface of tergum, in line with spur and extending to upper angle (apex) [Stachowitsch, 1992].
(Subclass Cirripedia):
Groove on outer surface of tergum extending to apex in line with spur, with sides sometimes folded in [McLaughlin, 1980].
